The City of Port Clinton intends to contract for professional design and engineering services in connection with the planning, engineering design, probable cost, financing, and engineering during construction of Port Clinton’s Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project.
Engineering firms interested in being considered for a contract to provide required services should reply with a statement of qualifications no later than Thursday, March 12, 2020. Statement received after this deadline will not be considered.
Statements of qualifications should include information regarding the firm’s history; education and experience of owners and key technical personnel; experience in designing similar projects; number and location of offices; size and availability of staff; the firm’s equipment and facilities; standard schedule of rates; sub consultants that might be employed on the project; and other pertinent information.

As required by Ohio Revised Code 153.67-71, responding firms will be evaluated and ranked in order of their qualifications for the various projects. Following this evaluation, the City of Port Clinton will enter into contract negotiations with the most highly qualified firm.

Description: Infrastructure related planning, engineering design, probable cost, financing, and engineering during construction of 40,200 Linear Feet of waterline with roadway resurfacing, milling and utility adjustments. In addition to 9,450 Linear Feet of storm sewer and 11,850 Linear Feet of sanitary sewers with road resurfacing, milling and utility adjustments.
The City reserves the right to take any action affecting the RFQ that would be in the best interest of the City and /or conduct investigations with respect to the qualifications and experience of each respondent.
