Through grant funding from The Ability Center of Greater Toledo the City of Port Clinton is able to offer the use of a beach wheelchair, to both residents and visitors.  These specially constructed chairs feature corrosion-resistant construction, and large, inflated tires specifically designed to tread on the top of the sand.

There are two shorelines locations the beach wheelchair can be utilized: the beach across from Lakeview Park and Waterworks park.

To reserve the chair, please call the Sandye at 419-734-5522, ext. 239 or email completed form to pcadmin@portclinton-oh.gov.  The chair is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at no charge Please call 24 hours prior to wanting to use the chair.
